Buyer protection
What we guarantee, and how to invoke it.
✓ Money-back escrow
If the seller fails to deliver the domain, you get 100% of your money back. No exceptions, no fine print, no negotiation.
✓ Transfer guarantee
We monitor the registrar transfer state. If the seller goes quiet for 7 days during a transfer, we initiate a dispute on your behalf — automatically.
✓ Verified ownership
Every listing was ownership-verified before going public. If a domain turns out not to belong to the seller (e.g. account compromise), we refund you and pursue the seller through our trust process.
✓ Trademark protection
If you receive a UDRP or court order showing the domain infringes a trademark you own, we cooperate with the takedown and refund you within 30 days. (Note: this is post-purchase — pre-purchase trademark check is your responsibility.)
✓ 48-hour dispute review
Open a dispute, upload evidence (chat logs, registrar emails, DNS history), and our trust team rules within 48 business hours. Decisions are documented and audit-logged.
What's not covered
- Buyer's remorse — once you confirm receipt, the deal is final.
- Off-platform side deals (chat-only agreements that bypass escrow).
- Loss of value after purchase (e.g. TLD policy changes, search engine penalties).
- Domain renewal fees — those are your responsibility at the registrar.
How to file a dispute
From your dashboard → Purchases → click the escrow row → "Open dispute" button. Pick a reason (non-transfer / wrong domain / etc.), describe the issue, attach files. Auto-release pauses immediately. Email dispute@eurodomains.net for help.
