Refund policy

Last updated: 2026-05-28

Every domain transaction on EuroDomains is escrow-protected. Your money is held until you confirm the domain has reached your registrar account. This page explains when, how, and how quickly you can get a refund.

Before transfer starts

If you've paid into escrow but the seller hasn't yet shared the EPP/auth code, you can cancel the order from your dashboard. Refund is automatic within 24 hours. No questions asked, no fees.

During transfer

If the seller shared an auth code but the transfer hasn't completed, open a dispute. Auto-release pauses immediately. Our trust team reviews evidence and rules within 48 hours. If the seller cannot deliver, you get a full refund.

After buyer confirmation

Once you confirm receipt — or the 14-day auto-release window passes — the deal is final and funds release to the seller. Refunds are no longer possible through our platform. Disputes about the underlying domain (e.g. trademark) must go through the appropriate registrar or court.

Chargebacks

If you file a chargeback with your card issuer, the seller's payout is held in a 30-day reserve. We work with both parties to resolve. Frivolous chargebacks can result in account suspension.

How long does a refund take?

SEPA: 1–3 business days. Card: 5–10 business days (depends on issuer). Wire: same business day if requested before 12:00 CET.

What about fees?

If the deal is cancelled before transfer, you get 100% back — no platform fee, no payment-processor fee. If the deal completes and a refund is later granted via dispute, payment-processor fees may be deducted depending on the payment method.
